Refund and Returns Policy

We want you to love your purchase from TamilDecor. However, if you receive a damaged or defective item, we are here to help. Please read our policy carefully.

Important Note on Handcrafted Items

Most of our products are handcrafted by artisans. Slight irregularities in color, texture, or finish are characteristic of handmade products and are not considered defects. Returns will not be accepted for these natural variations.

1. Return Eligibility

We accept returns ONLY under the following circumstances:

  • The product received is damaged or broken upon arrival.
  • The product received is defective or has a manufacturing fault.
  • You received the wrong item (different from what was ordered).

Non-Returnable Items: Custom-made orders, items purchased on clearance/sale, and products damaged due to misuse are not eligible for return.

2. Return Process & Requirements

To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

  1. Report within 48 Hours: You must inform us about the damage/defect within 48 hours of delivery via email at support@tamildecor.com.
  2. Mandatory Unboxing Video: To claim a return for damage during transit, an unboxing video is mandatory. The video must clearly show the unopened package label and the process of opening and inspecting the item. Without this video, damage claims may be rejected.
  3. Original Packaging: The item must be unused and returned in its original packaging with all tags, labels, and invoices intact.

3. Refund Policy

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • Timeline: If approved, your refund will be processed within 7-10 working days.
  • Method: The refund will be credited back to the original method of payment (Credit Card, Debit Card, UPI, etc.).
  • Shipping Costs: If the return is due to our error (damaged/wrong item), we will bear the return shipping costs. Otherwise, shipping costs are non-refundable.

4. Cancellation Policy

You can cancel your order within 24 hours of placing it, provided it has not yet been shipped.

  • To cancel, email us immediately at support@tamildecor.com with your Order ID.
  • If cancelled before shipping, a full refund will be processed.
  • Orders cannot be cancelled once they have been dispatched.
